Who is the competition aimed at?

PhD students in Life Sciences


How do they enter?

Applicants to submit the following documents in order to be considered:

  • Motivational letter written by applicant

  • Reference letter from relevant academic advisor/leader/lecturer

  • Applicant’s academic results

  • Email the above-mentioned documents to


Successful applicants will be invited to an all-day training session on Sunday, 25 August 2019.


Thereafter, top 8 finalists be attending the afternoon pitching sessions on Monday, 26 August 2019 and a winner will be selected from this group and announced at the Ministerial Gala Dinner.


Application deadline

However, applications will close on Thursday, 19 August 2019.
